Sperry Van Ness Asset Management has its Dallas Regional Management Office located at 5057 Keller Springs Road in Addison, Texas with DataVest | Sperry Van Ness. Upon the acquisition of approximately 750,000 square feet of Dallas office, office-flex, and industrial properties sold to its sister company SVN Equities by DataVest | Sperry Van Ness, the firm set up its own in-house managerial staff to handle the Dallas Regional properties. The management office is headed by Russell Robertson. He is assisted in his portfolio management activities by Brandon Burrows, the assistant property manager.

Russell Robertson joined the Sperry Van Ness Asset Management team in June, 2009 as Portfolio Manager. With the growth and expansion of SVN commercial property ownership in the DFW area exceeding 800,000 sf, Russell opened the Dallas Regional office directly for SVN, overseeing an extensive portfolio of office and industrial properties previously managed by 3rd party companies. With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience in property and asset management on a variety of asset classes and types including office, industrial, retail, multi-family and even hotel properties, Russell’s intent is to utilize his experience in bringing “value added” opportunities to every detail in professionally managing his client’s real estate.

Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Russell spent most of his career with MetLife Real Estate Investments and the Jackson-Shaw Company in property and asset management serving both firms for more than 10 years each. His career path is diverse and has allowed him to serve in a variety of roles and responsibilities including leasing, construction, capital improvements, loan servicing, dispositions and property management operations. His property and asset responsibilities have included everything from aging class C buildings to Class A properties valued at more than $75M in Dallas and other Southwest regions.

Russell attended The University of Texas at Austin and The University of North Texas in Denton, Texas earning his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Communications. He is an active participant and member of BOMA Dallas and IREM.

This office is directed through the Irvine, California Office under the direction of Jack Carroll, Burton Young, and Randy Sperry.

SVN Management, Inc. was formed by Burton Young, its President, for the purpose of managing and leasing commercial real estate. The corporation was formed in 1998 with Rand Sperry, Burton Young, and Jack Carroll. Through our partner company, SVN Equities, LLC, the principals of SVN Management also own commercial real estate, thereby actively demonstrating their belief and understanding that your asset is an investment. The same people who manage your real estate manage their own.

SVN Management, Inc. was formed to oversee management and leasing of SVN Equities’ acquisitions as well as third-party accounts. Management’s portfolio consists of approximately 60 properties amounting to more than 5.3 million square feet valued at over $800 million. Management's leasing and management portfolios consist of over 130 properties and more than 7.3 million square feet.

Principals

Rand Sperry is the Chief Executive Officer, and with Mr. Young, directs all Company operations as well as raising capital, acquisitions, management, and leasing of all Company owned assets. Mr. Sperry also oversees the Company’s strategic planning and interaction with the Sperry Van Ness Investment Brokerage Organization.

Burton Young is the President of SVN Management and Managing Member of SVN Equities. Mr. Young oversees all Company operations as well as the formation of partnerships, acquisition of properties, management, and leasing of all Company owned assets.

Jack Carroll is the Company's Director of Asset Management. Mr. Carroll supervises the day to day management and operations of all properties owned, managed, and leased by SVN Equities and SVN Management.

Sperry Van Ness Asset Management operates approximately 12,000,000 square feet of commercial properties throughout the United States.
